BriSCA F2 Stock Cars

In the ninth F2 fixture with Autospeed this season, 676 Neil Hooper became the ninth different final winner.  Hooper perfected a late charge to reel in 990 Paul Rice at the start of the final lap.  Rice responded with a spirited last bend challenge, but Hooper rode out the hit, and just held on for the chequered flag, with 954 Jamie Beere completing the top three.  Earlier, Beere had scored a maiden race win, whilst there was also a race win for 167 Bill Batten, a second consolation success in as many Smeatharpe meetings for 162 Richard Swales, and victory in the Grand National at the end of the day for 642 Dave Luscombe.

Saloon Stock Cars

186 Todd Jones continued his recent successful run, as he swept to a hat-trick of victories - the first of his race wins being in the prestigious Devon Championship.  199 Phil Powell and 834 Dan Climo joined Jones on the rostrum at the end of the title race.  Two runner-up finishes for 490 Ian Jarman, ensured he also had a successful visit from East Anglia. 

Bangers

A fractious day for the Bangers resulted in many drivers facing disciplinary measures, but away from some of the poor behaviour, 282 Steve Hunt totally dominated the day by winning his heat, the final and one of two Allcomers races.  There was a first race win of the season for 42 Dave England, a win on his debut appearance by 379 Nathan Stone, and 83 Dan Tavender christened his debut, with a rollover.
