BriSCA F2 Stock Cars

After a wretched time at the two Cornish rounds, 642 Dave Luscombe finally racked up some much needed World Championship points, as he won the final in the A1 Windows & Doors sponsored fixture.
Heat wins were recorded by 7 Gordon Moodie, 511 Martin Coles and 990 Paul Rice.  After a consolation win for 676 Neil Hooper, Luscombe won a sensational F2 final, with 38 Dave Polley as the runner-up and 101 Kelvyn Whalley in third.
Moodie won again in the Grand National to bring The Gold Rush trilogy of F2 dates to a close.

National Bangers (under 1400cc RWD) - Vintage Tin Night

The National Bangers served up some quality action, with plenty of exciting exchanges between the 3 Litre mag drivers and the Midnight Runners.  After heat wins for 208 Jimmy Randall and 239 Steve Carter - both in Capris, the feuding in the final played right into the hands of 141 Toby Tiddy who won the main race, by the narrowest of margins from 523 Jon Swanborough.
Top cars of the night included 776 Terry Senford in an A35 and 303 Nic Saintey on his National Banger debut in an A40, whilst the old Triumph of 368 Ashley Holmes and the Moskovitch of 369 Gary Holmes were also worthy of mention.
66 Dave Spooner produced a storming display in heat two, and fellow Cornish racer, 383 Andre McLellan had the night's smartest car with his splendidly painted Capri.

Stock Rods

All three races for Stock Rods brought first wins of the season.  221 James Southall brought his recent run of poor form and bad luck to an end as he took the opening heat.  54 John Tait took the final by some considerable distance, and 244 Ian Frampton was able to "steer from the rear" with his Toyota Starlet, as he romped to the chequered flag in the Grand National
