218 Rob Speak

Former eight times World Champion, 218 Rob Speak, has confirmed his intention to contest the upcoming pair of BriSCA F2 Stock Car World Championship qualifying rounds, at St Day on Sunday 4 July, and at Smeatharpe on Monday 5 July.

Hampered by work commitments, Speak was unsure if he could attend the two meetings.  However, his interest has been further boosted by a very successful practice session at Northampton International Raceway earlier this week, when Speak took to the wheel of the loaned DK car of East Anglian stalwart Snowy Crouch.

Speak now intends to use the car for the forthcoming World qualifiers, and will be hoping to avoid the luckless transportation problems he encountered twelve months ago which prevented him from making it to the St Day round.
