Additional rules re Micro Bangers:

Distributor Guards
Distributor guards are permitted on an engine that has a front facing distributor i.e. a series engine.
The maximum width of the guard is 9", with a maximum thickness of ¼ ".
The guard may be for the full depth of the engine, bolted or welded to the sub-frame and/or gearbox, and at the top, braced back to the front of the head, using box iron to a maximum size of 1" x 1".

Metro Sub Frames
Metro rear sub frames may be secured by an additional two bolts, as a secondary fixing.

1400cc maximum

Listed below are eligible cars - note Estate Cars are not acceptable; any under 1500cc pre-1968 car not on the list please phone office for confirmation.

IF YOU HAVE A CAR WHICH DOES NOT FEATURE ON THE LIST, BUT WHICH YOU CONSIDER FITS THE REQUIREMENT OF A MICRO BANGER, PLEASE OBTAIN CONFIRMATION FROM AN AUTOSPEED OFFICE BEFORE YOU BEGIN PREPARATION OF THE CAR.
