Bangers Allcomers - 18 August

Following recourse to video review, the full result of the Bangers Allcomers race at Smeatharpe on Sunday 18 August has been confirmed.

Two video recordings of the race have been studied, in conjunction with the original lap charts.

A track blockage in the pits bend brought about a dramatic early conclusion to the race.  Whilst some drivers looked to push and shove their way through the pile-up, in a manner consistent with the Autospeed Bangers class, a small number of the drivers took the opportunity to act in a manner more representative of National Bangers, and as a consequence, there are a selection of disciplinary issues to be addressed.

Accordingly, the full entry for the Team Championship on 26 August, is now under review.  Further news will follow.
