During the course of that Saturday, visitors to Cornish Market World and Kidzworld (on the site of the old Cornish Stadium on Par Moor Road), will have the opportunity to see some of the cars that will be racing at St Day the following afternoon.
One of the cars set to be on display, is the brand new BriSCA F2 of Smeatharpe Track Champion 676 Neil Hooper. The car first broke cover at the Autosport Show, at the NEC, Birmingham on 14 & 15 January.

Update
Saturday 10 March has been confirmed as the date of a special Tribute To Bill Dalley evening.
The venue will be the St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre.
During the evening, a selection of trophies will be re-presented, from the 2011 season. There will also be film shows of racing from many years ago, story telling memories, a buffet, and a fund raising raffle.
The timing of the event is to coincide with the first BriSCA F2 Stock Car fixture in Cornwall for 2012, which will take place the following afternoon, at the United Downs Raceway, St Day.
The evening is being sponsored by Autospeed, Neil Truran Motorsport, St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre and St Austell Bay Motor Auctions.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, the tickets for this event have been very reasonably priced at £10 each. Tickets will be limited.
Mark Of Respect
It is with much sadness that we report the news that Bill Dalley has died.
Bill, who devoted over 50 years of his life as an Announcer and Commentator, was known as "The Voice of Autospeed", and his unmistakable style of clarity, assurance and professionalism, was revered throughout short oval racing.
When Bill retired from commentating, in early 2010, he was adamant that he did not want any announcements or fanfares, and Autospeed's wishes to honour his remarkable loyalty, and devotion to duty, were repeatedly repelled.
The last few years of Bill's life were fraught with ill health. He died on 17 August 2011.
The funeral was attended by assorted short oval racing folk, on Thursday 25 August, at Bodmin Crematorium.
He will be fondly remembered by those who wrote down the results he announced, and those who worked alongside him.
Goodnight everyone...
