Bill Hilborn Trophy

The Bill Hilborn Trophy is the latest historic trophy which Autospeed have brought back into commission for BriSCA F2 Stock Cars in the south west.

The trophy dates back to racing at The Racecourse, Newton Abbot, and relates to Bill Hilborn, who was a one time Starter at the circuit.

Whilst the complete set of Bill Hilborn trophies has not been located, the main trophy - the magnificent silver cup pictured below - has undergone a complete refurbishment, and will be looking mightily impressive when it is raced for at Smeatharpe on Sunday 25 September.

For many years in Cornwall, the BriSCA F2 White & Yellow grade final at St Day has seen the race winner take possession of the huge Club 21 Trophy for twelve months.  The Bill Hilborn Trophy will be similarly attached to the BriSCA F2 White & Yellow grade final each season at Smeatharpe.
