Friday 11 June - Smeatharpe
Autospeed have made the decision to cancel the Crasharama XXI section of this meeting.
Originally, Crasharama XXI was scheduled for Sunday 30 May.  However, despite the attraction of £2000 of prize money, and a glittering array of trophies and bonus awards, driver response was poor.  Some drivers indicated that they might have been able to attend on the rescheduled date of 11 June.  However, being a Friday night and with other race meetings during this busy period, some of the original entry have had to withdraw, leaving numbers in single figures.

Running Crasharama XXI with so few interested drivers would be unpopular for all concerned, and hence the regrettable decision to cancel the Crasharama XXI section of the meeting has been made.  There are no plans to reschedule Crasharama XXI for another day, and this means that the National Bangers Championship of the World at Smeatharpe on Saturday 24 July is now the one and only programmed fixture to see big, unlimited cc National Bangers at the circuit this year.

The upshot of this decision is that bookings for (Rookie) Bangers on Friday 11 June have now been reopened, hence all those drivers who had been sat on a Reserve list, will now have the opportunity to race.

Spectators who booked for 30 May at the increased price for the original Crasharama, have two options:
A/ Retain your ticket(s) and use the barcode on Monday 21 June, Monday 5 July or Saturday 24 July.
OR
B/ If you no longer wish to attend the meeting on Friday 11 June, and would like a refund, please eMail office@autospeed.co.uk noting the name of the person who booked the ticket(s) and the booking reference.

Spectators who have booked for 11 June have the following option, to retain your ticket(s) and use the barcode on Monday 21 June, Monday 5 July or Saturday 24 July.

Stock Rods - last time at Smeatharpe before English Championship on 24 July
(Rookie) Bangers - bookings are now unrestricted
Special Rods - first visit from the guest formula
