FORDS Care Mechanics Championship

The 2013 short oval circuit race season will feature a brand new Championship, which has a dual purpose.  The FORDS Care Mechanics Championship is aimed at encouraging more new drivers to “have a go” whilst, at the same time, raising vital revenue for the FORDS Care Charity.

Confirmation of the dates for the St Day and Smeatharpe rounds of this competition:

Sunday 28 July - St Day - OVER £500 RAISED!
Sunday 18 August - Smeatharpe - OVER £800 RAISED!

The Grand Final for the FORDS Care Mechanics Championship has now been switched to Smeatharpe Stadium, on Sunday 29 December 2013 - click here.

FORDS Care have devised a points scoring system, to reward drivers for:
- attendance at FORDS Care Mechanics Championship rounds
- performance in those FORDS Care Mechanics Championship rounds
- the amount of fund raising they have achieved

Any driver who has contested a FORDS Care Mechanics Championship round, is eligible to contest the Grand Final.
