Hooper Hoping For Nine

676 Neil Hooper will be going in search of the ninth St Day feature final win of his BriSCA F2 career, when the new season gets underway this coming Sunday – 3 March – at the United Downs Raceway.

Hooper's first St Day final win came on 1 June 2003.  His most recent was at the closing meeting of last year, when he retained the Old Motor Cycle Club Trophy.

As a result of that most recent victory, Hooper has moved to fifth in the list of St Day F2 final winners.  He needs two more Final wins to draw level with Colin Higman in fourth place on a list that is led by Bill Batten, Mike James and Tim Farrell.
