Reliant Robins

Autospeed are set to welcome back the Reliant Robins on Sunday 20 July, when the three wheelers will race at Smeatharpe.

This will be the first occasion that the Plastic Pigs have been at Smeatharpe since July 2010.

Reliant Robin racing is a light contact, fun formula, the object of which is to complete the number of laps specified in the shortest time. Gentle nudging and side contact is allowed, but no deliberate ramming or heavy contact.

The Robins will have two heats (trophy for the race winner) and a final (trophies for the top three).  In each race, there will also be an Entertainer trophy.

At the end of the meeting, the Robins will have a chance to take part in their own Caravan Chaos race.  Again, the aim of the race will be to maximise the fun involved, whilst rolling and trashing some caravans along the way.
