On this day in 1986, 778 Colin Higman continued his run of success with his new Ford 2-litre Pinto powered BriSCA F2 Stock Car at St Austell.  Having only raced the car for the first time in late May, Colin had scored a final win when the F2s had made their first summer appearance the week before, but on this Tuesday night he made it two finals in as many weeks, when he landed the Feltic Flat Roofing trophy, as presented to him by fellow racer, Graham Jude.
