On This Day - 20th June

On this day in 2017, the night’s action for National Micro Bangers at Smeatharpe got off to a very spectacular start when 261 Tom Ware and 760 Ryan Pike rolled over together.  The two drivers tangled at the end of the back straight and proceeded to finish their rollover combination in the pits bend.  A thoughtful move from 190 Steve Bailey saw him use his car to shield the two upturned cars, before both drivers were able to emerge unscathed.
