On This Day - 24th June

On this day in 1992, the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars began their summer season of midweek evening fixtures with a very lively first Wednesday night.  Soon after 591 Andy Boddington had flown up the pits bend fence in an earlier heat, came this hugely spectacular incident, as 890 Peter Rice climbed up and over 539 Harry Hartnett, who rolled over in the process.
