On This Day - 26th July

On this day in 1992, the British Championship for Saloon Stock Cars returned to Newton Abbot for the second time in three years.  On this occasion, 38 Keith White raised hopes of some south west glory, but he became the target of some visiting drivers.  71 Steve O’Dell proceeded to land the title, to add to the English and European Championships he had won in previous years.
