On This Day - 2nd June

On this day in 1974, Cornish BriSCA F2 Stock Car star 546 Mike Williams recorded one of the best results of his career, as he landed the BriSCA Supreme Championship at St Day.  Mike’s success, against some strong opposition, was to be his only final win at the Cornish venue, but as can be seen from the cutting, it led to some publicity and recognition in his local newspaper.
