BriSCA F2 Stock Cars
Another highly encouraging showing of cars included a number of star name visitors, and it was one of them, 886 Chris Bradbury, who stole top honours, as he charged to victory in the MDP Services sponsored final.  In something of a flashback to their titanic duels of 2006, Bradbury fought hard with 676 Neil Hooper, but after a mid-race caution period, a brief hailstorm threatened to cause chaos.  When the race resumed, drivers tread warily for a couple of laps, before Bradbury eased clear, to win from Hooper, 38 Dave Polley and 105 Ross Rowe, and it was Rowe who completed the day with a win in the 30-car GN.

Stock Rods
The new engine which 34 Glenn Sanders recently fitted to his car, proved to be exactly what he needed, as he stormed impressively to a heat and final double, for the first two race wins of his career.
550 Matt Phillips followed up a third place in the final, to win the GN, and there was a lively showing from track debutant, 858 Nick Taylor, who had journeyed west from Hertfordshire.

Bangerstox
Once again, the Bangerstox turned out in huge numbers, with 72 drivers making it on track.
There was a heat and final double for 5 Nigel Fordham to help secure his immediate promotion to the star grade.
Such was the vast quantity of cars who wished to contest the end of day Allcomers event, that two such races were needed, and they brought first wins of the season for 708 Julian Hellyer and 778 Paul May.
