Bangers (under 1800cc) A late race collision with outgoing Boneshayker Champion 51 Jon Worstencroft, spoiled the hopes of 239 Steve Carter, who had led the main event for many laps. It was 508 Steve Ashby who pounced to take full advantage of Carter being delayed, and Ashby took the title, ahead of 80 Matt Nutley and 190 Steve Bailey.
Saloon Stock Cars 489 Darren Jarvis became the first driver to beat English Champion 402 Shaun Webster in a westcountry race this year, and World and National Points Champion 499 David Aldous won the final. However, Webster was still a double race winner, and he ended the day as the leading points scorer.
