BriSCA F2 Stock Cars The low grade drivers enjoyed a successful afternoon, with a GN win for 167 Bill Batten being the only victory by a star grader. The heats went to 935 Nathan Maidment and 990 Paul Rice, and 613 Ian Serpell took the consolation in a dramatic final lap, which saw long time leader 119 Dave Geach spin out. 189 Paul Butcher was the winner of the final, ahead of 254 Richard Beere and Serpell, and the win was Butcher's first ever feature race success. Saloon Stock Cars English Champion 402 Shaun Webster and World and National Points Champion 499 David Aldous endured torrid afternoons, with a succession of spins and crashes. The heats went to 18 Jamie Clayton and 401 Steve Webster, with 403 Ashley Foulsham the runner-up on each occasion. Foulsham went one better in the final, and with Clayton, 5 Mo Crowson and 490 Ian Jarman following him home, it was an East Anglian whitewash. Bangerstox Just under 50 Bangerstox made for another lively event, in which the stars were very much in charge, although 941 Hannah Creed took the final, leading home 988 Tom White and 60 Andrew Bulled, in a star-grade free top three. Ministox After heat wins for 922 Sam Porter and 972 Rob Weber, it was 923 Lee Porter who took the final for the youngsters.
