BriSCA F2 Stock Cars 667 Tim Farrell was in magnificent form in the F2 Stock Cars. He notched a convincing heat and final double, to win the Roy Goodman Perpetual Challenge Trophy, and even returned from his one lap handicap in the Grand National to cross the line third. When first home 254 Richard Beere was excluded for failing the rear axle alignment measurement, the win went to 676 Neil Hooper, and Farrell was elevated to second, which ensured he managed a 48-point haul for the day. Runner-up to Farrell in the final was white grader 771 John Vickery, who was also the winner of the day's opening heat.
Bangers (unlimited cc) Only a small number of unlimited cc Bangers were present for their fourth and final World Championship qualifying round. The bulk of the points went to 190 Steve Bailey who duly finished top of the World points chart, and the final was the liveliest race, particularly when 262 Buddy James clobbered 507 Paul Ashby head-on, and 341 Andrew Jones dished out a big t-bone to Ashby.
Bangerstox A new record car count of Bangerstox broke through the 60 barrier, and accordingly, the race action was extremely hectic and chaotic. In a dramatic final, 320 Nick Manning and 942 Richard Burke tangled as they disputed the lead. 186 Leon Fasey took full advantage to nip past, and he got over the line just as the red flags were shown, to bring the race to a premature conclusion, one lap early. Incredibly, 38 cars lined up for the Allcomers race, in which 55 James Ogborn led home 7 Richard Berry, after 158 Shaun McCarthy had rolled over on the home straight.
