BriSCA F2 Stock Cars Teenager 127 Matt Stoneman continued a most impressive start to his BriSCA F2 Stock Car career, by landing a final win in only his second meeting. The sixteen year old powered to victory in west Cornwall, surviving sustained late pressure when 497 Piers Cockerill and 105 Ross Rowe closed on him. However, having led from the early stages, Stoneman was not to be denied, and followed up a brace of heat wins by notching a feature final victory too. "I could see other drivers closing on me, but the laps were ticking away, and I was pleased that they ran out of time to catch me," smiled the thrilled teenager, after he was presented with the astonishing Tyrone Snell Trailers trophy. Stock Rods There was a brace of victories in the Stock Rods for 181 Lindsey Jones. However, the George Polley Motorsport sponsored final was won, appropriately enough, by 30 Rob Peters, driving his George Polley Motorsport built car. Bangerstox There was another impressive showing of Bangerstox, with 42 cars on the grid. There were heat wins for 477 Jonas Kristjansson and 23 Lee Janes, before 351 Darrin Burley managed a last bend victory in the consolation. The final, for the Taiya Densham Memorial Shield, looked to be heading to 479 Jamie Jenkin, but he encountered some spinning backmarkers in the late stages. That saw him delayed, and 242 Ben Ellacott nipped by to take the win, from Kristjansson and Jenkin. The Allcomers brought a first ever win for 172 Nick Crocker.
