BriSCA F2 Stock Cars The annual Club 21 sponsored F2 meeting attracted a good number of drivers, in particular a good showing of white graders, and it was one of their number, John Vickery (771) who enjoyed a dream day, as he plundered a heat and final double. Vickery's performance for the day netted him the St John Ambulance White Top Shield which his father Roger had won previously.
Ministox A number of welcome visitors, including Kyle Overy (170), Jack Harrington (173), Oliver Skeels (124) and Craig Upson (381) helped swell the grid as the youngsters competed for the Devon Championship, sponsored by Turtle Signs. It was Harrington who stamped his authority on the day, as he racked up a hat-trick to retain the Devon title. Sam Porter (922) was close behind as the runner-up and Overy finished third.
Bangerstox The Bangerstox were in good numbers once more, with over 60 cars present. Heat wins went to Nick Manning (320), Andrew Bulled (60) and Luke Thomas (916), before Simon Paris (672) led home more than 30 cars in the consolation. An exciting final was led by Hannah Creed (941) and Rachel Tavender (153), but star graders Kev Gooding (156) and Leon Fasey (186) also made good progress. At the close, Gooding went for a last bend kamikaze dive, but he and Tavender drifted very wide, and it allowed Fasey to ease by, and he celebrated wildly with spectacular air punching from the cab of his car. Creed was there for second and Tavender recovered for third. An action-packed Allcomers race went the way of Scott Sealy (730).
