Saloon Stock Cars A commanding display from 401 Steve Webster saw him land the Saloon Stock Cars World Championship title. Webster took the lead on the second lap, and was barely challenged from that point onwards. His brother, 402 Shaun Webster placed second, and 419 Luke Grief was third, with 17 Kenny Purdie in fourth, after he had qualified for the back of the grid by winning the Last Chance Qualifier race at the start of the meeting. BriSCA F2 Stock Cars 105 Ross Rowe managed the biggest win yet of his career, as he took the BSCDA Benevolent Fund rosebowl, leading home 511 Martin Coles who had chased him all the way through the race. On his first visit to Smeatharpe for some time, 871 Mark Simpson took the meeting final.
