The 34th annual staging of the Devon Championship for Saloon Stock Cars is likely to be a keenly fought contest.
During the month of May when Saloon Stock Cars raced the European Championship speed weekend and a brace of domestic fixtures, 84 Carl Boswell and 99 Jacob Roff enjoyed some very successful visits.  Boswell, from the Cotswolds won the feature final at each end of the month; the second victory landing him the coveted Club 21 Trophy.  Roff from the west Midlands amassed four race wins in the month, including the feature final after the European title race.
Amongst the former winners looking to regain the Devon title will be westcountry stalwart 199 Phil Powell.
English Champion 27 Kieren Bradford will have his sights trained on a first Devon Championship success.
Fellow south west based racers 130 Chris Durrant, 267 Martin French and 902 Junior Buster will race in the Devon Championship for the first time.

Raceday Programme

In the Five Years Ago section of the Raceday Programme, the 7 July 2013 meeting will be remembered.  The National Bangers were brutal in One Sunny Day, and in the BriSCA F2s, the 886 Chris Bradbury bandwagon rolled on, as he recorded a sixth consecutive Smeatharpe final win.  Can you recall the two white graded drivers who proved hard for him to catch; one of whom went on to record his maiden victory in the day’s GN?
