The second United Downs Raceway meeting in the month of March will again see the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars in action.  The Saloon Stock Cars will make their first appearance in Cornwall for the new season.  The Back 2 Basics Bangers are set to return having raced at the February fixture, and there is a first westcountry outing of the year for the infant racers in the BriSCA Micro F2s.

The westcountry's approved agent for Yokohama tyres, Neil Truran Motorsport, will be in attendance at this event.
Neil Truran Motorsport are now in their 20th year of providing their service and backing to short oval motor racing in the south west.

Southern Motorsport

Southern Motorsport, who are suppliers of overalls, gloves, balaclavas, neck supports, goggles, etc and other driver racewear, will be in attendance.
They also stock other items which contribute to keeping race cars mobile and on track ready to carry on racing.

BriSCA F2 Stock Cars

The BriSCA F2 Stock Cars will return to action at the United Downs Raceway, just a fortnight after a memorable opening westcountry fixture of the new national Stock Car racing season.  539 Stevie Hartnett wrote himself into the history books by scoring his first ever feature race win, which landed him the prestigious Voice of Autospeed Trophy.  Hartnett's final win has propelled him back into his more customary yellow grade.
The day's results saw many drivers bank a decent handful of points, with 127 Matt Stoneman emerging as the early leader of the St Day Track Championship chart - click here for further details on the BriSCA F2 website.
Having made his BriSCA F2 debut at the opening fixture, 118 Josh Toll is due back for his latest home track appearance.
Teenager 134 Cameron McColm is due to race at St Day for the first time.
Cornish racer 944 Callum Hosie aims to race at his home circuit for the first time this year.
There is a first westcountry visit of the season planned by 251 Craig Driscoll, who has already raced at Birmingham, Cowdenbeath and Skegness.

Saloon Stock Cars

The mighty Saloon Stock Cars will make their first St Day appearance of the year.
On home ground, 447 Adam Hicks and 980 Charlie Lobb are due to offer some Cornish representation.
Further Cornish interest is due from 642 Nigel Thomas.
00 Brad Morgan, grandson of legendary westcountry racer the late Spence Morgan, will race at St Day for the first time.
Intrepid Scotsman 620 Arryn Triggs is aiming to make the long overnight haul to race, providing he negotiates a meeting at home at Cowdenbeath on Saturday 23 March.

The Back 2 Basics Bangers will make their second appearance of the year.

Amongst the entry will be local race 946 Lexi Read, who was such a popular feature of the St Day Press Event on 1 March.
