The biggest event of the BriSCA F2 Stock Car season will see the Grand National Championship contested at Smeatharpe for the first time since 1982.  The Saloon Stock Cars will make their final appearance in the westcountry for 2020.  The annual Dave Weare Trophy event will take centre stage for the Back 2 Basics Bangers, and their involvement in the programme will conclude with a fun-filled Chained Pairs race.

All drivers must pre-book in advance.  There are only limited spaces in the pit area.  Bookings close at 5.00pm on Friday 23 October 2020 or when all spaces are taken; whichever is the sooner.

Neil Truran Motorsport are now in their 21st year of providing their service and backing to short oval motor racing in the south west.

Southern Motorsport

Southern Motorsport, who are suppliers of overalls, gloves, balaclavas, neck supports, goggles, etc and other driver racewear, will be in attendance.
They also stock other items which contribute to keeping race cars mobile and on track ready to carry on racing.

The BriSCA F2 Grand National Championship has not been staged at Smeatharpe since 1982, and thus a 38 year hiatus will end when the drivers grid for this traditional end of season title event.  World Champion 7 Gordon Moodie is the current holder of the Grand National title.
184 Aaron Vaight and National Series Champion 560 Luke Wrench look set to share the front row of the grid for a race which boasts a £500 first prize.

801 Jack Cave is set tor his first visit to Smeatharpe since the opening round of the 2019 National Series compettion.

Saloon Stock Car newcomer 162 Bradley Fox look set to lead off from the front of the grid

Having made his first Saloon Stock Car visit to Smeatharpe on 28 September, former National Bangers star 319 Richard Regan has amassed sufficient points to get himself on to the grid for the White & Yellow grade final.
There is a first ever Saloon Stock Car appearance at Smeatharpe planned by 340 Will Brazier.
Having entertained westcountry fans with his action-packed displays in the BriSCA F2s, 282 Ant Riley is due to make a first Smeatharpe appearance in a Saloon Stock Car.

With regard to the Track Championship, 161 Billy Smith needs only a modest score to clinch the title, as he holds a comfortable 23-point lead over 902 Junior Buster going into the final Smeatharpe meeting of the season.
399 Cole Atkins scored a hat-trick of wins when the Saloon Stock Cars were last at Smeatharpe.  He will be keen to extend that run of success.
