After a summer break, race action will return to the United Downs Raceway, with the first of three fixtures at the circuit during the month of August.  Having performed so well on their debut visit in early May, the Modstox will return to Cornwall in another important fixture for them.  Lots and lots of Bangers are expected for their first race meeting since late May, as they set off in the opening round of The Lego Trophy.  Completing the line-up will be the BriSCA Micro F2 Stock Cars.

Recycle

Racegoers are reminded of the recycle plans for clean milk bottle tops - bring on raceday and deposit at the Trackshop.  Furthermore, racegoers are reminded that those who bring a reusable drinking bottle are entitled to a discount at the Teas/Coffees hut.

The Modstox will make their second and final St Day appearance of the season.

In early May, when the Modstox made their historic first ever visit to St Day, 192 Max Harding and 291 Dan Baker shared the spoils, with two wins apiece.

Bangers

The Lego Trophy - Round 1

Another strong entry of Bangers is expected for the opening phase of The Lego Trophy, in memory of the late Brian Paramore.
The second and concluding round of The Lego Trophy will be contested at Smeatharpe on Bank Holiday Monday 31 August.

The infant racers (7 to 11 year olds) will complete the line-up.
