Spring Bank Holiday is set to bring forth a fun afternoon from the Back 2 Basics Bangers, whilst once again the Saloon Stock Cars will be in action as they continue a busy start to their season in Cornwall. It is Bertie Bassett day for the Stock Rods and that will see a deluge of prizes up for grabs. To complete an entertaining line-up, the Snell Family Trophy is the feature award for the Ministox.
Saloon Stock Cars
The Saloon Stock Cars will race at St Day for the last time before contesting their National Championship qualifying heats on Saturday 21 June.
Western Champion 759 Taylor Whitford will be looking to sign off his time in the white grade with another fine performance.
Fresh from his Saloon Stock Car debut at Aldershot on 18 May, former Ministox British Champion 202 Cody Bradford will race in the westcountry for the first time.
Last season's winner of the Western Championship at St Day, south coast racer 277 Jack Grandon, will make his first south west appearance of the season.

Bertie Bassett Trophy
Sponsored by Team 231
The non-contact Stock Rods will make their last appearance in the south west ahead of the UK Championship at Skegness on 31 May/1 June.
The meeting is the fourth south west date of the season for the Stock Rods, as the countdown continues towards the World Championship that is scheduled to be contested at St Day in September.
522 Chris Mikulla will defend the magnificent Bertie Bassett Trophy.
After his victory in the National Championship at Buxton on 11 May, English Champion 914 Callum Faulconbridge will be hoping to continue his fine run of form.
There is a debut outing planned by 777 Nathan Congdon.
B2B Bangers
There is a return to race action at St Day for the Back 2 Basics Bangers after their last display was hugely entertaining in early March.
687 Rob Toms and 412 Aaron Graham are poised for their debut appearances, as part of a charity mission raising funds for St Luke's Hospice, Plymouth.
Something a little bit out of the ordinary, and little bit of extra fun is planned - the opening event for the B2B Bangers will be a Reverse Race!
