Yes, it is a Saturday, and day one of a simply stunning weekend of action. The day one focus will centre on the United Downs Raceway. The Saloon Stock Cars will contest a series of qualifying heats for their National Championship ahead of the title race at Smeatharpe the next afternoon. A host of BriSCA F2 Stock Cars will be chasing vital World Championship qualifying round points and some lively action can be expected from the 2 Litre National Bangers as they contest The Lego Trophy in memory of Brian Paramore.

For years, race fans have been calling for a major Championship for Saloon Stock Cars at St Day. This is the next step towards such an event, with the all-important qualifying heats for the National Championship set to be contested.
Each driver will have three opportunities to score points to advance their grid position for the title race at Smeatharpe on Sunday 22 June.

World Championship Qualifying Round and National Points Series Round

The 2025 World Championship is scheduled for The Racewall, Cowdenbeath in Scotland in September. To qualify for the World Final, drivers will need to progress through the World Championship Semi Finals which are set for Saturday 23 August at Smeatharpe. To qualify for the World Semi Finals, drivers need to amass points from World Championship qualifying rounds, underlining just how vital the meeting is for those with gold roof aspirations.
Last year's World Championship top four are all set to be in attendance.
Gold top 1 Luke Wrench will race at St Day for the first time since capturing the title.
Runner-up, 618 Ben Lockwood, will make his first St Day appearance of the season.
Early season St Day final winner, 213 Tom Bennett, is planning another return visit to Cornwall.
Fourth place finisher 915 Jamie Jones will also be at St Day for the first time in 2025.
