A four formula spectacular is scheduled for the first of two meetings at the United Downs Raceway in the month of July.  The English Championship for the Ministox is a prestigious title which the youngsters will be keen to win, whilst the Old Skool Bangers finally get a chance to race in Cornwall.  Another large entry of Bangers will be expected, and the day is set to be completed by the annual guest visit from the Special Rods.

Bangers

The Bangers will race at the United Downs Raceway for the first time since early May, and another strong entry is expected.

Ministox graduate 390 Alfie Tomkins has adapted to racing in the senior class swiftly, already racking up a string of wins on his way to the top of the Points Championship and Supreme Championship standings.

Old Skool Bangers

Notice has been given by the Old Skool Bangers to drastically improve numbers, or lose fixtures, following a lacklustre display at Smeatharpe on 26 May.

The Stalwart, 776 Terry Senford, has a birthday treat for himself, by planning a first Old Skool appearance for a number of seasons after taking delivery of the ex-Steve Tippett Jaguar.
There is a first Old Skool appearance planned by 24 Matt Taylor.

Special Rods

The big, powerful rear-wheel-drive Special Rods will make their annual visit to the far south west.

Usually, the non-contact Special Rods compete at the Mendips Raceway.
