Gold and silver to the fore, this is an absolute treat for Stock Car fans as the World Championship Semi Finals for BriSCA F2 Stock Cars return to Smeatharpe Stadium for the first time in sixteen years.  The Saloon Stock Cars will embark on their National Series, with the opening round of the competition that decides who will win the silver roof.  To complete a stunning line-up, the 2 Litre National Bangers will also be in action and they have repeatedly served up plenty of entertainment already this season.

The World title dreams of 20 drivers will take one more step towards realisation as both World Championship Semi Finals will be contested at Smeatharpe for the first time since 2009.

Top points scorer 183 Charlie Guinchard has earned the right to choose which Semi Final he will contest.  The English Open Champion has until 13 August to make his decision.
