The organisers of Crash For Cancer, led by Banger 919 Oscar Berry, have asked for a big Thank You to be extended to all racegoers who contributed to the fund raising inspired by the abundance of pink cars at Smeatharpe Stadium on 14 December.

Oscar's father, Jay Berry, explained, "Crash for Cancer event was a great success, raising over £1,200 in support of cancer research. The day saw strong community involvement, with generous cash donations made directly into the collection pots throughout the event.
All funds collected on the day, along with the final proceeds generated once the cars are scrapped, will be sent to Cancer Research UK via the "Go Fund Me"platform. The final total will be confirmed once vehicle scrappage is complete.
Overall, the event was well attended and demonstrated excellent support for an important cause.
