Spring Bank Holiday Monday brings with it the second of this season’s Caravan Chaos races. The Easter Monday session was full of fun and action. What will the next episode conjure up? The Duncan Pike Trophy is the showpiece for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, whilst both the Bangers and the Old Skool Bangers are scheduled to be in action..
Spring Caravan Chaos
The season's second Caravan Chaos event of 2025 at Smeatharpe is sure to lead to more smashing action, as half a dozen caravans or more will be battered into oblivion. At Easter, 182 Neil Rippon and 153 Rhiannon Tavender were the star performers, each producing a highly entertaining display. The Caravan Chaos race is the last of the afternoon, leaving behind as it does, a scene of utter devastation.

The season's third appearance at Smeatharpe for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars is also the last outing at the circuit before the eagerly anticipated World Championship qualifying round will be contested on Sunday 22 June.
World Champion 1 Luke Wrench took top honours when the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars were last at Smeatharpe on Easter Monday and that sent him to the top of the Track Championship standings.
There is an overdue first Smeatharpe appearance of the season planned by 24 Jon Palmer.
Following an exciting debut display at St Day on 4 May, 458 Layton Mush again aims to feature.
A first Smeatharpe racing appearance is also planned for 95 Joe Willcock, son of much-missed former racer Rog Willcock.
618 Ben Lockwood, winner of the People's Trophies in 2022 at Smeatharpe, will make a first westcountry visit of the season.
Bangers
Numbers have been soaring for the Bangers during the early season meetings and another bumper entry is expected, for what will be their first fixture since the season's first set of new grades were introduced.
Teenager 390 Alfie Tomkins leads the Points Championship, whilst 803 Josh Boswell leapt to the head of the Smeatharpe Track Championship after top scoring at the Easter Monday event.
A first outing of the season is on the cards for 776 Terry Senford, and the stalwart racer aims to present a stunningly smart car for the occasion.
Old Skool Bangers
The Old Skool Bangers will make the first of four scheduled appearances with Autospeed during the 2025 season.
