The Spring Bank Holiday weekend will begin with a very special occasion as we celebrate the career of Steve Belfield, whose involvement in Banger racing dates back to the early days of Mike May’s Monarch Promotions.  A proper fun day of Bangers is planned, with the expectation of some really decent numbers, and a sprinkling of unusual cars too for good measure.  The Saloon Stock Cars will contest a long overdue westcountry fixture – their first in the region since Easter, and to help buy some added repair time for the Bangers, the BriSCA Micro F2s will complete the line-up.

Recycle

Racegoers are reminded of the recycle plans for clean milk bottle tops - bring on raceday and deposit at the Trackshop.  Furthermore, racegoers are reminded that those who bring a reusable drinking bottle are entitled to a discount at the Teas/Coffees hut.

Bangers

Bulldog Bash
In celebration of 351 Steve Belfield

A fun day is planned for the Bangers, with a sensational entry expected as the racing community celebrates the long-standing involvement of 'Bulldog' 351 Steve Belfield.
Fittingly, a special feature is planned for the raceday programme.

The meeting will build towards heavier crashing later on, and will conclude with a Destruction Derby.

Saloon Stock Cars

The Saloon Stock Cars will make their first westcountry appearance since Easter Monday 6 April.

So far in 2026, the Saloon Stock Cars have only had one outing at St Day, when 720 Archie Brown won the Western Championship on Good Friday.

BriSCA Micro F2 Stock Cars

The infant racers (7 to 11 year olds) will complete the line-up.
