BriSCA F2 Stock Cars

In all, 77 F2s contested the fixture, with 20 David Tagell scoring the maiden final win of his career, as he scooped the Tommy Pitcher Memorial Trophy.
The star names dominated the qualifying heats, with 647 Chris Burgoyne, 886 Chris Bradbury and 127 Matt Stoneman each enjoying a turn with the chequered flag.  44 Chris Cort led home a string  of low graders in the consolation, with Dutch ace H19 Jelle Kurstjens the only star grade finisher in the top ten.
Tagell and fellow yellow grader 779 Cameron Pugh filled the top two places in the main race, with 154 Steve Green Jnr completing the top three.
The EDS Motorsport.co.uk Grand National, was won by 464 Matt Linfield.

Saloon Stock Cars

Even though there was a disappointingly high level of no-shows from the official booking list, the Saloon Stock Cars again turned in a rumbustuous display.  It was 428 Lee Sampson who won the first heat by some distance.  In heat two, 156 Darren Goudy battled his way to the front, and also ran out a comfortable winner.  The stars redressed the balance in the Ascot Environmental sponsored final, as 401 Steve Webster led home 219 Luke Grief and 499 David Aldous.

National Hot Rods

305 James Jamieson made his long journey south, from the north of Scotland, into a most worthwhile one, as he reeled in double heat winner 444 Sammy Shuddall, to win the feature final for the National Hot Rods.  World Champion 41 Carl Boardley made it through to second at the flag, with stalwart racer 210 Charlie Weaver completing the top three.
